If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you should know that my schedule during Paris Fashion Week was packed crazily with interviews, photoshoots and lots of photo snapping. However, there was another big trade show that fashion insiders should not have missed, and that was PREMIERE CLASSE & PARIS SUR MODE.
PREMIERE CLASSE is an international accessory trade show for selective high-quality brands, which presents high-end jewellery, footwear, leather goods and also other luxurious accessories, whereas PARIS SUR MODE is a ready-to-wear fashion show. I made a short visit to the event and mainly spent my time at PREMIERE CLASSE as I felt submerged in the sea of clothes at PFW so I was keen to check out the trends for next season in terms of high-end accessory goods, mainly hats and leather goods. Surprisingly it turned out to be such an inspiring fashion show for me, and I found my new favourite brand at the show, SACCO BARET.
SACCO BARET – I was attracted to their defined, bold and minimal designs. They used back and white as their main colours with a nice twist of feathers. Every item felt like a craftsman’s piece of wax art. Holding them in my hands I dreamt I was in a private fashion museum to collect them rather than actually about to wear them. They are so precious, unique, and most importantly: TIMELESS…which has always been and will forever be my #1 rule and definition of fashion. I spent some time to talk to the co-founder Jayma Sacco to get to know more about the brand and I instantly became a bigger fan of SACCO BARET after knowing more of the story behind the brand and how the bags and shoes are made.
PASOTTI was another of my favourite at PREMIERE CLASSE. I love all the well-made animal heat umbrellas – zebra, giraffe, flamingo, leopard you name it, greatly luxurious and creative. I’m such an animal-holic who is always attracted to fashion items with animal patterns. I guess that’s why I’m a Safari lover and semi-vegetarian (Definition according to myself: a person who doesn’t eat meat, but eats seafood occasionally). Just thinking… I would love to have more rainy days in my life if I had some of these gorgeous umbrellas!
All in all, it was a great opportunity to check out the trends with all these high-end brands, and also to get to talk to the brand founders and designers at PREMIERE CLASSE, which in the end was totally worth stopping by for a visit. Great show PREMIERE CLASSE, and thank you for having me.
