Founded in 2013 by Cynthia Lo, red-closet is a place to chronicle her daily life from her personal to professional insights, thoughts and styles, from fashion and photography, to travel and food, sharing inspiration and creativity. Having travelled to over 40 countries around the world, Cynthia always finds herself getting lost somewhere in between. She is now on a voyage, a rewarding voyage that never ends.
Cynthia Lo
Cynthia Lo is a Hong Kong based entrepreneur, marketer, designer, photographer, writer and the creative director behind red-closet.com. Having once dabbled in blogging while in university, a passion she had to set aside to focus on her studies, and after graduation in London she jumped into the world by taking over a small business in the highly competitive education sector in Hong Kong and guided it to remarkable success, yet despite this, Cynthia, always driven by the entrepreneurial spirit of creativity, launched this fashion blog in 2013 both as an analgesic reprieve from the dreariness of daily business management and tedious profits and loss calculations, and more to the point, to pursue her passion for fashion.
In just a short period of running this blog, Cynthia has collaborated with various international fashion brands, working as a photographer, ambassador and event organiser, while marvelling at how, work is play and play is work, when doing the dance of passion. Having an education background in media and business management helps her to realise her own vision in the fashion industry. At the end of 2014, after running her own business profitably for more than three years, Cynthia decided to take another risk to sell it, and now works as a freelance, threading cooperating initiatives with different companies, and thus, into the dangerous world of fashion she leapt.
