I was almost running out of my energy recently and noticed that I really need to recharge myself and keep the positive spirit going through my body and soul. Early this month was packed with RISE conference vibes – one of the most important startup events on the plane (according to social media), and I was glad to be part of it. Meeting inspiring startuppers from around the world and learning from other startups were the main reasons why I attended the conference.
Many of you might think why a fashion & lifestyle blogger like myself would be interested in that kind of technology conferences? Good question, however if you’re awake for the world you’re living in, the things you’re surrounded by, then you should’ve noticed that technology is everywhere in our daily life. From the devices we’re using on the daily based, like the laptop and smartphone which you can’t live and work without to the way of communicating and connecting with people, like this platform I’m using to express myself and also social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to interact with people – there are all the technology that keeps changing the way we live and innovating the world as a whole. People always get confused about the work I’ve been doing, thought I was a full time blogger, and this was what I do for living. Seriously? It’s absolutely NOT. I’ve never taken blogging as a business, and it’s always been my little pretty project that I will keep doing it for my whole life. I just that kind of person who gets entrepreneurial spirit and I really love creating and building things. Like I always say – follow your passion, it’s not worth to live and work with no passion just for paying bills when you know you can only live once. There is no Plan B, just go for it!
We all know keeping ourselves always energetic and passionate is hard, as we’re human beings; we have physical limits and psychological weaknesses. We feel down from time to time by the goals can’t be or not yet achieved, by the love you didn’t receive or not yet come. Life is more like a process of self-training and self-discovery, and people you cross paths with are actually the reflection of yourself at the time. If you can’t see the reflection of yourself, take a “sporty fly”, the world will just in your eyes and you will know where your heart belongs.
Something just has to die. Some people just have to let go. And you stay, with yourself.
