When you’re planning a vacation to the Maldives – where to stay is the most important thing you need to sort out as it’s going to be the whole experience of the Maldives. The Maldives is basically a resort archipelago; each resort is an island – therefore, the resort you choose is the island where exactly you’re going to spend your vacation in the Maldives. Choosing a great island resort in the Maldives is not that hard as there are lots of amazingly luxury island resorts out there, but making a decision is hard not just because too many choices, but also the affordability for the prices. Yes, the island resorts are very expensive, but it’s totally worth the value after experiencing once.

We chose Coco Bodu Hithi to be our first experience in the Maldives, and that has been one of the most precious moments in my life, although I was travelling with my best girl friend, not my partner, but BFF romantic vacations sometimes turn out to be the most memorable ones – agreed? We loved the Coco Water Residences with a big balcony and private outdoor swimming pool, and the feeling of privacy and exclusivity. I felt like the world was just two of us that we were sent to an isolated island which was located in the middle of nowhere, all we had to do was enjoying the sunshine and the view of  the blue Indian ocean; drinking champagne under a thousand stars; snorkeling under the sun with the beautiful Marine life; lying on the beach to see the golden sunset and waking up early to practice yoga while watching the spectacular sunrise. All these sound like a dream, don’t they?

The Maldives is where the dream produces, where a picture of it is much powerful than a thousand words, and the first hand experience is how you make a dream vivid.
