If God gives a purpose to each person to be born with, I guess I was born for islands. My recent escape to the Maldives was dreamy, isolated and full of impossibilities. The Maldives has been a dream for me, but fortunately I was able to transform the impossibilities into possibilities. I should thank God for giving me the passion for photography while he was making me for islands, and here comes a day that I SEE AN ISLAND – the one with all the bright lights of my dreams shining in the sky. I wonder if there is such a “PARADISE” on the earth, if then, it is the Maldives. The pure pearl that God lost once he popped open our world, and it became a place everyone has been dreaming of. I ended up finding the door to get into it, and seeing the island just under my feet, feeling the heat that it has been absorbing from the sun. Oh dear! I hope it was just a dream in which I could dream it again and again when I really miss it.
A stunning place definitely needs a gorgeous dress to match with. This is my kind of formula for travels and also it is one of the most important things after I book my tickets for a vacation. I’m lucky to be able to wear this classical Evening Salmon Dress from Leslie Van when I was losing myself in translation in the Maldives. Being Miss Leslie Van – a classy, gorgeous and elegant Parisian was what I was dreaming about, just like the Maldives. I can’t hold the dream for my whole life, but at least there was a moment in time in a dress named Leslie Van. Wait, who is Leslie Van? Well, Just stay tuned for getting to know more about her as my interview with this Parisian fashion designer is coming soon.
“Have you ever seen an island? Is it in the dream?”
